Short Film Series

Anadromous Now pays tribute to a diverse range of passionate salmon advocates while examining how anglers must play a critical role in salmon conservation and harvest transformation in British Columbia.

This ongoing short film series began in 2018 capturing the cultures and practices of fishing for Pacific salmon and steelhead, as well as the valuable stewardship work of those who have made water and anadromous fish a focus of their lives.

As anglers, it’s our responsibility to take the lead in protecting wild fish populations. A connection to nature is essential if we are to preserve our environment and diverse fishing communities. Spending countless hours on the water, sports fisher’s are valuable members of our coastal communities and essential in cultivating sustainable solutions to fisheries harvest and management in B.C.
