LEATHER CARE
Our Salmon leather is vegetable tanned naturally dyed before being conditioned with organic coconut oil or leather salve. This process should be repeated as needed or every few months. I use coconut oil, but you can use bacon grease or commercially available leather conditioner. The veg tanned cow hide can also be conditioned as needed or waxed. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
FLY PATCHES
The fly patches are designed to be removed and replaced. This design allows us to replace the zipper if needed. Patches can be removed and replaced at home with white glue or can be returned to the studio for service.
LIFETIME WARRANTY
Salmon leather textiles include many natural variations and imperfections that are part of a sustainable production process with zero waste. Some pieces even have a hole or two from seal teeth during harvest! I do my best to work around or patch holes when possible but never waste any pieces of leather so some artefacts have natural variation.
I guarantee all leather goods against faulty materials (zippers and sewing) or workmanship for the entire practical lifetime of the piece. I will repair or replace all goods free of charge that are shown to be faulty. Custom and/or personalized orders can’t be returned or exchanged, unless they arrive damaged or defective. Please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
